For your peace of mind, we offer a standard 180-Day Warranty on every part we sell.  If you purchase a part from us and your part fails within 180 days of purchase, return it to us and receive an exchange part or full credit toward your next purchase at Auto Parts of Shelby.

Additionally, we offer affordable Extended Warranties on our parts.  When you buy from Auto Parts of Shelby, you have the option to purchase Silver (6-month), Gold (1-year), or Platinum (5-year) Extended Warranties.  What’s more, our Remanufactured Engines and Transmissions come with 3-Year 100,000-Mile Warranties!

Limited Lifetime Sheet Metal Parts Warranty

We protect your investment with a lifetime guarantee against inside-to-inside perforation caused by rust. This warranty covers the cost of repair including parts and labor, and begins on the date of purchase from us, extending for as long as the owner of the vehicle, at the time it was repaired, continues to own the vehicle. We will cover reasonable and customary parts and labor necessary to repair or replace the defective sheet metal at the purchasing repairer.

The Sheet Metal Warranty does NOT cover:

Cosmetic or surface corrosion resulting from stone chips, scratches, or other causes; corrosion perforation caused by improper installation, neglect, accident, abuse, or any event not considered normal use to your vehicle; damage from the environment including weather, hail damage, airborne fallout (chemical, acid rain, etc.) cleaning solvents and/or polishing materials.

Limited Mechanical Parts Warranty

We protect your investment with a 180-day guarantee against product failure due to defective material. We will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the part in the event of a failure. WE DO NOT WARRANTY LABOR unless Extended Labor Warranty was purchased at time of original sale.

The Mechanical Parts Warranty does NOT cover:

Breakdown due to or caused by the failure of non-covered components, improper installation, defective workmanship, or usage for which the part was not intended and/or failure of the product if not properly maintained using the correct types and levels of fluids and lubricants as outlined in the owner’s manual of the vehicle.

All Warranties are Null and Void if:

• The vehicle is used for racing or other forms of competition or off-road recreational purposes.
• Failure is caused by abuse, misuse or modifications.
• Failure is caused by towing a trailer or other vehicle unless the vehicle is equipped for this purpose as recommended by the manufacturer.
• The vehicle has been modified to plow snow, whether the snowplow is attached to the vehicle or not.
• The part fails or becomes defective due to the vehicle being involved in a collision.
• Product is installed and operated outside of the United States.
• The installed heat tab center is melted or removed.
• The part is not installed by a certified mechanic.

Labor and Installation

You are required to obtain authorization prior to beginning any repairs covered by this warranty. We recommend that a professional repair facility and technician perform installation. We are not responsible for injury or damages during, or as a result of, the installation of our product. Timing belts, thermostats, spark plugs, fluids and seals are routine maintenance items and should be replaced at the time of installation and at the manufacturers recommended service intervals. Proper operation of the cooling and electrical systems must be checked during the installation of products that can be affected by those systems. While most fluids have been drained from our products, it is your responsibility to completely drain and replace fluids, lubricants, antifreeze and filters that are fresh, clean and approved by OE manufacturer.

• Transmission: It is the responsibility of the installer to replace the radiator or transmission oil cooler, flush the transmission oil cooling lines, adjust shifter mechanisms, replace seals and pan gaskets when installing a transmission.
• Engine: Claims related to the overheating and/or improper lubrication of the engine or its components are not covered by this warranty.

Notice

The original invoice must accompany all returns and is not transferable. No returns on electrical parts. A 50% restocking fee is applied to all unused items. No returns after 10 days. We reserve the right to inspect any product prior to replacement. Warranty inspections and repairs may be completed at a repair facility specified by our company. The year and model of the vehicle or part printed on the invoice is within a range of interchangeability and may not necessarily be the exact model and year as the part of vehicle that has been provided. Glass carries no breakage warranty.

This part may have accessories that are attached, and must be switched or removed to accommodate proper installation, which is solely at the responsibility of the installer. All “Accessory and Extra Parts” that have been included with the product are attached to aid in the convenience of installation and are not covered by this warranty. No warranty is implied or applies to carburetors, cores, water pumps, valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires, exhaust manifolds, vehicles and/or part so noted on the front of this invoice.

The purchaser hereby understands that due to the nature of used auto parts, any liability from all causes shall be limited to the price paid for the goods sold or provided. If the merchandise is defective, liability shall be limited to the replacement of parts being provided or a remedy not to exceed the price paid for the goods sold or provided at the Seller’s option.
